After-School Programs for Winter 2018

Our curriculum combines problem solving strategies and automation techniques that will enable every student to tremendously develop a number of important life-long thinking skills, such as generalization and abstraction, pattern recognition, data analyzing and representation, modeling and simulation. Not only will they be able to come up with the most effective and efficient solutions for programming problems, but they will transfer and generalize these techniques to all sorts of other disciplines.
We will be using pseudocode, MIT Scratch, or Python for our programming needs, along with well designed unplugged activities.
These modules are being offered in grade appropriate groups, as they align with the new Common Core Curriculum, so please make sure you sign up your child in the correct age group.
